Josef Pfeffer, the brother of brewery founder Wolfgang Pfeffer, brewed this beer in the 1920s, as it is relatively light and was therefore also ideal as a thirst quencher for heavy field work.
Even today we brew according to the old recipe of Josef Pfeffer, of course only from the noblest raw materials from our homeland."
