"Our friendship with the supremely talented and massively influential Northern Monk extends back as long as the brewery has existed; whether it was sage advice that we required, support during difficult periods, all the way down to our shared passion for our football teams, we’ve shared a close relationship that has intertwined throughout our history.
With the advent of Hop City finding its way onto our calendar, we couldn’t help but leap on the opportunity to brew up something tremendously hop-forward whilst we were in town to celebrate the best hop merchants in the world.
Featuring a lineup of hops both well utilised and respected, to brand new to us at Polly’s, we’ve loaded this beer with Polly’s favourites Idaho 7 and Strata, with complimentary additions of Alora and Erebus to create a DIPA dripping with sweet melon, peach, apricot and yuzu notes, playing off Erebus’ completely unique blueberry, candied fruits and floral rose flavours."
