Queer Brewing - London, England
This LGBTQ+ History Month, we're celebrating the trans innovators who were pioneers in their respective fields of science and innovation.
This beer celebrates the pioneering work of Alan L. Hart, who developed the use of X-ray photography to detect the earliest signs of tuberculosis—work that saved countless lives directly, with a lasting impact on how infectious disease is detected and understood today.
X-ray is a rich and tropical pale ale hopped with Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin. We've added a unique blend of oats, wheat and maize to the malt bill for a sweet, biscuity base—think tropical cheesecake in beer form, with lashings of intense peach and juicy nectarine. It's light at 4.3%, but certainly packs a punch when it comes to flavour."
