"a Maderised barrel aged imperial stout. coming in at 11.6% This is a combo of 3 imperial stouts all aged in 18-20 year old speyside whisky barrels. One of which was "maderised" , basically it was purposely aged in a third filled barrel at warm temps. In order to oxidise it and bring out barley wine/Port/Maderia fruity flavours. think dates & raisins along with tobacco and whisky."
